Ipnos

By taking away unnecessary elements from the traditional lantern, designers Nicoletta Rossi and Guido Bianchi ended up with Ipnos, a simple metal box, supporting "invisible" (LED) light sources. The result looks like a void, filled by the surrounding space and light.

Architectural, crisp and beautifully refined, the floor lamp provides a diffused light. Frame made of very lightweight aluminium, anodized in various finishes. LEDs on the top edges are incorporated in the frame, and burnished into the resin. Transparent PC (polycarbonate) diffusers protect the light source. There is a driver on the plug; the on/off switch is on the cord.

Available in indoor and outdoor versions. Dimmable.
