Deneb Vase

Deneb is a stylish. limited edition vase designed by Guillaume Delvigne. It features a blue, blown glass vase anchored in a tray made from cork. The catch-all tray also acts as the vase’s base.

“Deneb is a true functional and formal paradox. A vase separable from its base, but useless without it. Cork, traditionally considered a poor material, takes center stage, enhanced by the hands of a craftsman. Between the coolness of glass and the softness of cork, turquoise blue sparkles like a star whose name it bears."

This piece was presented during the exhibition "Prospectives O10" at Designer's Days 2011 in Paris.
