ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Jungyun Yoon's career in design was influenced by her father who enjoys various kinds of sports as a dentist and her mother who has always told her about life and philosophy as a pharmacist. After her graduation from one of the best art schools in South Korea, Hongik University, she opened her own studio called YOONJUNGYUN as a product designer in 2008.

Jungyun Yoon（ジャンユン・ユン）は、ソウルに生まれました。NYにて様々なデザインファームに勤務し、経験を積み、韓国で最高峰のデザインの大学ホンジク大をを卒業後、ソウルに自身のスタジオ「YOONJUNGYUN」を設立しました。彼女は、モノの中に隠された美しさ、小さな幸せなどをテーマにプロダクトデザインを行ってきました。その詩的でありながら、コンセプチュアルになり過ぎないデザインは、ミラノサローネや、ICFF, NYなどでも高い評価を得ています。2009年に発表した最初のプロダクトInner Message Ringは、彼女のデザイン哲学が存分に表現され、現在では世界各国で販売されています。
