Inspired by the Nordic tradition of cozy candlelight, Float is an elegant candlestick named for its sense of floating across the table. Its aesthetic shape was designed to give space and significance to the candle.
Float candlesticks also work well in groups, combining several colors to spread a warm atmosphere in any room.
Fits a standard candle width with a diameter of 2.3cm. Small silicone feet attached underneath to protect tabletops from excessive heat.
Anderssen & Voll was established in the fall of 2009. Anderssen & Voll have received several awards for their work; including Wallpaper Award, Red Dot Award, IF Award and Honorary Award for best Design in Norway.
Torbjørn AnderssenとEspen Vollによるノルウェー出身のデザインユニット。Bergen Academy of Art and DesignとOslo National Academy of Artをそれぞれ卒業した後、2000年にデザイングループ「Norway Says」を立ち上げる。Norway Saysはノルウェーのデザイナーの間でいち早く世界に目を向けたデザイン活動を行い、ノルウェーのデザインシーンをリードする新生の若手デザイングループとして世界から注目を浴びる。
