Some of the more interesting designs at Milan this year were by Norwegian newcomer Daniel Rybakken.

Inspired by the Scandinavian winter, Delight Comes Sideways is made of severalble dimmable LEDs set behind a semitransparent acrylic surface.

The addition of motion creates "a dynamic recreation of daylight, by creating artificial shadows...like a tree blowing in the wind, or the shadow of a cloud passing over head".

Very cool, especially for those Norwegian winters.
