I-Beam Illuminated Table
Designed By: Suzan Wines & Azin Valy

We received an email last week about a new illuminated table from New York Architecture firm I-Beam Design:

"Energy efficient Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) give off a soft sexy glow when diffused by a translucent polycarbonate honeycomb surface.
Color changers built into the LED light strips allow one to set different moods by controlling the color and duration of illumination at the touch of a button."

Looks like it could be an interesting table, though hard to tell from the images. Pricing not confirmed yet.

Any ambient light product is a winner in my book. I collect all kinds of light.

This seems to be a perfect product for a bar setting.

This already has been invented and has existed in the Morimoto restaurant in Philadelphia. All tables and chairs in the place slowly change color. Sorry.

I agree with fouchnickens. It look nice, and with the color, it would fit great into a bar or any public 'drinking-place'. But it wouldnt fit into an ordinary home.

It looks nice. Here are a couple of other models that you can buy premade (https://www.becausewecan.org/shop/taxonomy/term/3) and the kits to make your own (http://evilmadscience.com/majors/46-tables).

Your "View All Designs" icon does not seem to work with any regularity. goes to same page mostly http://pipeline.gnr8.biz/index.php?task=home
