Designed by NYC studio Haptic Labs, Sailing Ship is a whimsical kite (or mobile) in the form of a sailing ship.
Aerodynamic without remote controls or engines, each kite is handmade by Balinese craftsmen, constructed entirely without commercial factory parts or labor, and finished with local bamboo. Though it may appear delicate, bamboo has greater tensile strength than steel, and can shrug off crashes on beaches or grass.
Just the thing for a day at the beach or a newborn's nursery.
