Tord Boontje, recently named designer of the year by the Design Museum and Elle Decoration UK, explores the juxtaposition between old and new, as well as naturalism and technology, with these fantastical lights.
Boontje applies advanced laser cutting technologies to unexpected materials (in this case brass or stainless steel) to create cascading floral patterns that allow you to bring "nature" into your home.
The Garland Light Shade has won design awards for best light as well as the Metropolitan Home readers' choice award for Futuristic classics.
Limited edition 24K gold plated Garland Light Shade also available. Each shade comes in an elegant dark walnut display box signed by designer Tord Boontje. Limited Edition of 1000.
