Considered "radical" when first released in 1996 (when it was named Best Of UK Design), Michael Young's Magazine Sofa has since reached iconic status.
As it's name implies, the sofa is designed around the idea of storing and reading magazines.
The design was selected in 2002 by the Cooper-Hewitt national design museum in New York as a key element in their major exhibition: 'skin: surface and structure in contemporary design.'
