Square Wind Bell

Kouichi Okamoto's minimal yet sophisticated Square Wind Bell is made of two small metal plates that are transversely mounted. As one plate catches the wind, the other strikes the glass, and makes a harmonic sound with each subsequent action of the wind.
Each tonality is different, depending on the form and minute compositional variations of the glass, and the direction and strength of the wind.
