Piet Hein Eek is best known for his intricately composed scrap wood furniture - chairs, tables, shelving and much more. Each piece is a unique blending of his artistic craftsmanship and design skill.
Starting long before the "green movement", Hein Eek has been creating masterpieces from recycling scraps of wood, sometimes even leaving the paint on, for many years. By merging the handmade with the re-used, he has taken recycling to a master's level, creating iconic works of art.
Now, with his Scrapwood Wallpaper he mimics the salvaged weathered wood for which he has become famous.
