Originally designed in the 60's, there's a lot of history that is associated with this piece. Unlike the more traditional piggy banks that had to be broken to retrieve the cash, this one had a resealable opening and was made of wood. Recently redesigned to include a spring closure and a parchment disc that needs to punctured before it's emptied, it's now been updated to suit these modern times without sacrificing its exceptional beauty.
